Papertake Weekly

Over at Papertake weekly they have set the next their next challenge.

“Onto this weeks challenge which is to use spots and stripes on your project – I’ve had a few emails recently about the challenge so just wanted to let everyone know – you can make anything you like for the PTW challenge so yes to all scrapbook pages and altered items! lol 🙂 We love seeing all the creations!”

I have made a stepper box, I found out how to do this while lurking over at ILWS . It took some time to do and its not perfect, but had fun making it. So the paper is spots… and the ribbon i have made into stripes!!

I have used papers from Stampin’ Up! Pretty in pink and blush blossom card stock and designer paper from sweet always. The ribbon was in my stash.

Stamp with us challenge #3

Over at Stamp With Us they have set their next challenge. It’s a colour challenge and it’s Chocolate. It’s one of my favourite colours.

I have created something simple. I have used the stampin’ dimensionals to raise the sentiment.

2009-creations-049

I used chocolate chip card stock and whisper white to stamp the image and sentiment on. The stamp used is from level one hostess set called ‘A little bit of happiness’  I punched a flower out of whisper white and a smaller one for the middle. The bottom of the card was punched with a scalloped edge punch.

Stampin’ Up! Layout

I have had a go at creating a layout with all Stampin’ Up! products. Igot carried away with the stamp sets… I used 3 of them.

Pocket silhouettes, Garden Whimsy and A tree for all seasons.

2009-creations-0432009-creations-0442009-creations-0452The papers that I used were Whisper White, green galore and Chocolate Chip. The designer paper for the circle is from Rainbow sherbet. The inks are Green Galore and Chocolate Chip.

I used two sheets of A4 paper to make the just under 12×12 size that I needed. The circle was cut free hand after using to plates to draw round and get the right size. I inked the edges with Chocolate Chip ink, as I did with the edges of the photo. What is great is that I was able to stamp with the inks on my photo as well.

Stamp With Us challenge

Over at Stamp With Us they have started a challenge.   I would pop over and have a look at what exciting things the girls have done and are planning.
But back to the challenge for this week. It is a sketch and a lovely one too.
My card has been created with green galore and tempting turquoise card stock from the bold brights. Pretty in Pink from soft subtles.
The patterned paper from rainbow sherbet designer paper. The image is from crazy for cupcakes, the cupcake had a candle in it but I managed to ink around it so I left the candle out.
The cherry ontop is from the Tart & Tangy. For the scalloped edge I used the punch.
